Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau to Announce Autopalooza Lineup and Upcoming Major Automotive Events at June 8 Press Conference

DETROIT - June 8, 2010: The following is being released by the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau:

What: A press conference to kick off Autopalooza, a number of local car and transportation initiatives taking place this summer, including an upcoming major automotive event that will bring considerable economic impact to the region beginning in 2011.

  Who: Speakers include:

      Vice President, Sales & Marketing
  --  Nancy Darga, MotorCities National Heritage Area Board of Directors
      Chairperson

Representatives from Autopalooza events will also be on hand for interview opportunities, and the following vehicles will be on display: NASCAR Show Car, The D-Rod, 1960s-era Muscle Car, Classic Car, 1950s-era Muscle Car and a Roush Mustang.
