AUBURN, IN - June 10, 2010: The fifth annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum Benefit Extravaganza will take place at the museum on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 6 p.m. Seating is limited. The event promises to be a fun time for everyone in attendance. Activities for the night include a silent auction, live auction, gourmet dinner, live music, drinks, hors d'oeuvres and after-hours museum touring!

The evening will feature a 1960 Las Vegas theme. Staff and Board of Trustee members will be wearing shop jackets resembling those worn by Auburn Automobile Company workers. Last year's benefit was an outstanding success, providing essential funds for the not-for-profit museum's programming efforts.

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum is seeking the consignment of 8 to 10 exceptional automobiles for its annual Benefit Extravaganza to be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010. Each year the museum sells a small group of consigned vehicles during its annual fundraiser. There is no consignment fee, but when the car sells, the consignor makes an 8% tax deductible donation to the museum. If you have a vehicle you would like the museum to consider, please contact Matt Short, info@automobilemuseum.org or 260-925-1444.

A limited number of tickets are available at $125 per person. Get your tickets now while they are still available. Proceeds benefit the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum. Call Jan Schippers at (260) 925-1444 to reserve your tickets.

The fifth annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum Benefit Extravaganza sponsors-to-date include: Auburn Auctions; The Worldwide Group-Auctioneers; Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance; Sandra and Gene Davenport; Do it Best Corp.; Gooding & Company; RM Auctions; Classical Event Auctions; Passport Transport; Hagerty Insurance Agency; Steel Dynamics, Inc; and Valeo Financial Advisors.
