Florida's First Natural Gas Vehicle Fueling Station Opens to Public Announces Wise Gas

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - July 10, 2010: Wise Gas announced the official opening of Florida's first compressed natural gas (CNG) alternative fuel station open to the public.

The CNG station, which is located at 650 NW 27^th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, is the first of many Compressed Natural Gas stations being developed across the state of Florida.

"All I can say is that our station is the only station actually refueling vehicles today," said Christine Slager, Chief Operations Officer of Wise Gas.

To sweeten the opportunity for those ready to reduce America's foreign oil dependency and declare their own energy independence, Wise Gas sells natural gas vehicles - from those that run on dedicated CNG systems to bi-fuel vehicles that can run on either gasoline or compressed natural gas. The price of CNG at the Wise Gas station is $1.99 as of today, a 27 percent savings over gasoline.

Among other services Wise Gas offers is a local roadside assistance for natural gas vehicles that are unable to reach the refueling station due to low fuel.
