SoCal Penske Acquires Chevrolet, Workhorse and Allison Transmission Dealership in Southern California

CERRITOS, CA - August 12, 2010: SoCal Penske announced the acquisition of S & J Chevrolet, Workhorse and Allison Transmissions located in the Cerritos Auto Square in Cerritos, California.

Operating minutes away from major freeways in Los Angeles and Orange County, Penske Chevrolet, Workhorse and Allison are located in the Cerritos Auto Square in Cerritos, California and will complement the company's existing dealership footprint in Southern California. With the completion of this acquisition, SoCal Penske now operates nine automotive dealerships in Southern California and represents the Audi, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Honda, GMC, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, smart and Sprinter brands. The addition of the Workhorse RV Chassis and Allison Transmission business marks SoCal Penske's return to the commercial vehicle business in the Southern California market.
