PARIS – October 27, 2010: Peugeot’s popular 207 hatchback now has added “sport-ism” with the introduction of the new 207 Sportium special edition.

The 207 Sportium hatchback is available with a choice of either a VTi 95 Euro 5 petrol engine or Peugeot’s new HDi 92 Euro 5 diesel engine. It builds on the already comprehensive standard specification of the previous special edition 207 Millesim model.

All models benefit from: power steering, six airbags, remote control central locking with deadlocks, electric front windows – “one touch” for the driver, reach and rake adjustable steering, radio/ CD player, ABS, EBFD, EBA, trip computer, electrically operated / heated door mirrors, manual air-conditioning, front fog lights, chrome effect finish to the front grille, colour-coded body side mouldings (including rear bumper), Peugeot connect USB with Bluetooth, alloy wheels 15” on petrol models and 16” on HDi models, rear parking aid, Sportium interior pack and dark tinted rear window / rear side glass.

The fitment of Peugeot Connect USB & Bluetooth enables a portable MP3 player or iPod to be connected to the vehicle and full Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity allows hands-free phone calls to be made and received by the driver using just the controls on the steering column.

Low CO2 and fuel efficient, the 207 Sportium benefits from Peugeot’s innovative VTi petrol engine technology and Peugeot’s new 1.6 litre HDi 92 Euro 5 diesel engine to minimise ownership costs.

With ever-increasing fuel costs and emission based taxation affecting all drivers, the combined fuel consumption of the 207 Sportium HDi 92 at 65.7 mpg, combined with zero road fund licence costs will ensure owners’ motoring budgets stretch as far as possible.
