Volkswagen Golf and Tiguan Receive Gold in 'Best of the Best 2011' Awards From Money Magazine

BOTANY, AUSTRALIA – December 7, 2010: The Volkswagen Golf has had its second consecutive win in the Money Magazine ‘Best of the Best 2011’ Awards. The ‘Best-Value Small Cars’ Category was taken out by the Golf 118TSI. The Volkswagen Tiguan received Gold as ‘Best-Value SUV’.

Anke Koeckler, Volkswagen Group Australia Managing Director, greeted the announcement with surprise.

“Two years in a row is a great success for the Golf, it is clearly consistently delivering to both our customers’ and our critics’ expectations,” said Ms Koeckler.

“Our multi-award winning Tiguan may have come to this segment late but it has made its mark with its value, quality and great design.”
