SYDNEY – January 3, 2010: Recognising Hyundai Motor Company Australia's commitment to “Moving the World” together, a pivotal component of the company’s global Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the Hyundai Hopman Cup sponsorship has been enhanced with the addition of the ‘Hyundai Aces’ programme, delivering vital support to the ‘Kids Tennis Foundation’.

Using tennis as a communication tool, the ‘Kids Tennis Foundation’ helps develop self-esteem and self-confidence in children who are socially or financially disadvantaged and whom otherwise may not get the chance to be involved in sport.

After outstanding success in its inaugural year, the Hyundai Aces programme will see a donation of $100 - an increase from $25 in 2010- for every ace served by players during official tournament matches*.

Leader boards on court will track and display the Hyundai Aces tally throughout the tournament, with a rolling donation fund total visible at all times.

The tournament will see tennis greats including Andy Murray, Justine Henin and Novak Djokovic representing their respective nations up against Aussie favourites Alicia Molik and Lleyton Hewitt representing Australia.

Hyundai Motor Company Australia has been a proud sponsor of the Hyundai Hopman Cup tennis tournament since its inception in 1988 and official tournament ‘Title Sponsor’ since 1998.

The Hyundai Hopman Cup XXIII is in action from 1st - 8thJanuary 2011 at the Burswood Entertainment Complex, Perth.
