LUTON, UNITED KINGDOM – February 3, 2011: Vauxhall has announced the following organisational moves, effective immediately.

Andrew West, formerly Retail Network Development Director, is appointed Aftersales Director and has responsibility for all Vauxhall UK & Opel Ireland aftersales, sales and marketing and warehouse operations.

Andrew has 13 years under his belt at Vauxhall, having worked in network and franchising field operations for the last 10 years. Prior to this he held a number of senior roles at Peugeot and Nissan.

“I’m very happy to be offered this new challenge,” said Andrew. “Aftersales is a vital area of the business and with Lifetime Warranty I’m looking forward to raising the bar even further in the market place and providing the highest levels of service.”

Replacing Andrew as Retail Network Director is Andy Robson. Previously Vauxhall’s National Retail Sales Manager, Andy has been at Vauxhall 26 years, joining the company as a business apprentice. During that time he has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for me to oversee Vauxhall’s retail network during an important time in the company’s history,” said Andy. “We have the strongest product portfolio ever and a long list of exciting new launches on the horizon.”

Both report directly to Duncan Aldred, Vauxhall’s Managing Director.
