BRENTWOOD, UNITED KINGDOM – February 4, 2011: Welcome to the first edition of Keep Britain Moving, our new regular newsletter which is here to keep you up to date with the latest news about the world of commercial vehicles. We'll be reporting on the latest CV industry legislation, product and performance news as well as updates on Ford products and services. All the information here is provided for your editorial use.

"This issue focuses on the tough and durable Ranger, which proved a lifeline for many customers during the recent challenging weather conditions. "As Ford marks 100 years of trading in the UK, we are celebrating an impressive 45 years of UK commercial vehicle sales leadership. The Transit has been the nation's favourite since 1965, which shows no sign of abating - December saw an increase in commercial sales compared with the same month in 2009.

"For all businesses the past 12 months were dominated by the economy and 2011 looks set to be the

same, but there is good news. While economic conditions are far from easy to read, we're positive about the year ahead. We've seen traction in the flexible lease sector, particularly with mid-size companies. These are the sort of leases that allow the vehicle to run for 18 months, or up to four years.

"Public sector budget cuts will continue to affect municipals but we are seeing the largest, traditional fleet customers buying again, including the construction industry. "Signs such as these suggest the

underlying economy is sound but businesses are still taking a cautious approach to economic matters.

"We'll be here in 2011 supporting our commercial vehicle customers with the most suitable, best value and toughest products on the market.
