BOTANY, AUSTRALIA – April 13, 2011: The investment in new industry-standard-setting dealerships by the Audi Australia Dealer Network continues apace, reflecting the ongoing growth and increasing strength of the brand in the Australian market. The latest addition to the network was officially opened in Sydney's Pennant Hills on the evening of Wednesday April 6.

Audi Pennant Hills is a completely new Audi Terminal facility with a 14 car showroom, 10 state-of-the-art service bays and the level of customer reception and care facilities that continue to set Audi Dealerships at the head of industry.

The new facility, which represents a $4.5 million investment, also benefits from the experience of joint Dealer Principals Anthony Altomonte and George Severino, both with many years of successful premium vehicle operations behind them.

With the opening of the stand-alone new Audi Pennant Hills, the family of Audi owners in the Hills District is certain to grow, and there is an exciting new home for the area's existing Audi owners.

The investment in the new Audi Pennant Hills dealership is part of the ongoing Audi Australia dealership development program, which by the end of 2011 will have seen more than $210 million invested into new or improved facilities nationwide.

That investment is reflective of the progress of the Audi brand in Australia, with unprecedented growth levels of less than 4,000 cars sold in 2004 to an expected 15,000 cars to be delivered to proud owners over the course of 2011.

Speaking at the opening of Audi Pennant Hills, Audi Australia Managing Director Uwe Hagen said: “This new facility is a clear demonstration of both the dealership's commitment to the people of Pennant Hills and of Audi's continued growth and increasing strength. In the first quarter of 2011, for the first time ever, more Australians chose an Audi as their premium vehicle than any other brand.”

“But we, and our dealer network, do not take such growth for granted. We will continue to earn the confidence of our customers through the provision of facilities such as this – delivering a level of total customer care that does justice to the quality and progressive performance of every Audi car.”

We congratulate Anthony and George on their vision and commitment. We are sure their business confidence in Audi will be rewarded." Joint Dealer Principal Anthony Altomonte commented on the excitement generated in his team by the opening of the new facility: “With the growth Audi is experiencing and the impending arrival of further exciting new models in the Audi line up we are very confident that this new facility will play an important part in making Audi the leading premium automotive brand in our market. All in our team are ready to welcome existing and new owners and demonstrate to them why the Audi experience is superior.”
