Salon Privé 2011 is "Supercar Heaven"

LONDON - May 24, 2011: In a little less than a month, one of the UK’s most exclusive and prestigious automotive events takes place. At Salon Privé, automobile royalty will be gracing the delicately manicured lawns of Syon House, West London, in a traditional English garden party setting at the height of London’s summer social season.

Since Salon Privé’s debut in 2006, the event has grown in diversity and distinction, whilst retaining the intimacy and private garden party atmosphere that has become its trademark. A memorable spectacle of the event has always been the supercar lawn, where examples of the world’s most precious and impressive automotive metal is displayed for guests to get up close and personal with and 2011 is no different.

At this year's event, which runs from June 22-24, Salon Privé guests will see the pinnacle of the super sports car segment, the new Lamborghini Aventador. Another show stopper is Bugatti’s new, 268 mph, land speed record breaking Veyron Super Sport. This year also sees 13 other indivdual UK show debuts:

With the backdrop of one of England’s most beautiful stately homes, an extensive collection of the top echelon of current motoring marques will be on show (see full list below).

Given its reputation for being an exclusive boutique-style event, Salon Privé attracts not only the better known brands, but also an interesting selection of rare, international, ultra exclusive brands which are virtually impossible to see together anywhere else in the world.

Over the years, Salon Privé has been chosen by manufacturers to unveil new models for UK public viewing. In 2009 Jaguar unveiled their new XJ model to the public and Aston Martin chose the event to unveil their astonishing, £1 million, ‘One-77’.

It’s not only supercars that guests will enjoy come June. Salon Privé is also hosting a bespoke, ‘Quintessentially English’ RM Auction during the three-day event as well as the annual Concours d’Elegance. Of course, the cars are only one part of the overall Salon Prive experience. Guests will also enjoy the free flowing Pommery Champagne, lobster luncheon, specialist wines, a complimentary bar and traditional afternoon tea.
