MONTVALE, NJ--June 3, 2011: Mercedes-Benz USA debuts the brand's brightest stars at the 16th Annual Greenwich Concours d' Elegance from June 4-5, 2011 including the all new 2012 C-Class Coupe.  The event features rare vehicles from past and present and benefits Americares, the private, non-profit relief and humanitarian aid organization.

Throughout 2011, Mercedes-Benz continues to celebrate the invention of the automobile and the 125 year anniversary of Carl Benz patent submission and development of the Benz Patent Motorwagen.  With the backdrop of the Greenwich Concours,  Mercedes-Benz honors its anniversary in displaying some of its newest models available including one that won't be out in dealerships until early fall -- the all new 2012 C-Class Coupe.

In addition to the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, several other new innovative Mercedes-Benz vehicles are making their Northeast Concours debut:

  • 2012 CLS63 AMG featuring the new AMG V8 biturbo engine with 550 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque at 33% better fuel economy, available in June at $96,775 MSRP
  • 2012 SLK350 an all new roadster design that takes top down driving to new heights. It features a MAGIC Sky Control Roof that allows the adjustment of its transparent roof from light to dark at the touch of a button, available in June at $55,675 MSRP

Mercedes-Benz is also featuring within its display the exclusive 2011 SLS AMG supercar featuring iconic gullwing doors that draws design inspiration from the 1954 300 SL "Gullwing" first introduced nearly 56 years ago.
