LAVERTON, AUSTRALIA – July 28, 2011: The Suzuki Kizashi continues to earn high praise around the world, taking out top spot for the midsize class in the annual J.D. Powers vehicle satisfaction survey in the United States.

The Kizashi outperformed 19 other competitors to earn the category’s top award after being ranked highest in more than half of the individual measurement categories.

The median buyer profile also averaged 10 years younger and with a higher income than the midsize segment average.

The 2011 J.D. Power and Associates Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study measures satisfaction based on owner evaluations of more than 90 vehicle attributes across ten categories including fuel economy, visibility, driving experience, interior, exterior and audio & entertainment.

This recognition follows other consumer satisfaction awards including consecutive wins in the annual AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA) for the last two years, and further strengthens the brand’s position in the market.

“This is tremendous feedback from satisfied owners. The Kizashi continues the long Suzuki tradition of offering the highest levels of value and customer satisfaction,” said Suzuki Australia general manager Tony Devers.

“With its combination of stunning design, outstanding performance and high levels of safety, our research also shows similar levels of satisfaction here in Australia.

Devers said the Kizashi represents not only Suzuki’s first foray into the mid-sized car segment but also a car that is reinforcing the Suzuki brand globally.

“Starting at a recommended retail price of just $28,490, the Kizashi represents outstanding buying in terms of value, quality, specification and performance.”
