Bluetooth and Media Device Interface Now Standard Equipment on Volkswagen Golf

BOTANY, AUSTRALIA – Sept 1, 2011: Volkswagen’s Model Year 2012 Golf is here and is offering more technology as standard than ever before.

Further increasing its competitive edge in the small/medium car segment, Model Year 2012 Golf and Golf Wagons (Trendline and above) will now be fitted with Bluetooth phone connectivity as a standard feature. In addition, Volkswagen’s Media Device Interface (MDI) will also be offered as standard equipment on Comfortline variants and above.

In short, new Volkswagen Golf 90TSI Trendline and Golf Wagon 90TSI Trendline models will include the convenience of Bluetooth phone connectivity with audio streaming and phone book display.

Golf 118TSI Comfortline, 103TDI Comfortline, GTD, GTI and R models, along with Golf Wagon 118TSI Comfortline and 103TDI Comfortline models, will feature Bluetooth phone connectivity with audio streaming and phone book display as well as MDI which is supplied with a USB connection cable, all as standard equipment.
