EAGLE FARM, AUSTRALIA – Jan 9, 2012: Sydney-sider Shane Conlon received an unexpected Christmas present this year, courtesy of Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) - and his ability to grow a stonking ‘Mo’ last Movember.

Shane and his workmates raised over $5,000 which put him in the running to win the brand-new Isuzu D-MAX 4x2 Crew Cab Ute, valued at over $39,000.

“This couldn’t have come a better time,” Shane said.

“Two days earlier I had employed a bloke to run our new office in Grafton (Northern NSW) and was about to go out and buy a new ute – so this is a great way to kick off the new year,” he added.

“What’s even better is that on the journey up to Grafton we went through one tank of fuel, whereas my colleagues in the Landcruiser had to stop to top up – so there’s another added bonus for the business.”

In its second year as an official supporting partner of Movember, Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) encouraged registered Mo Bros & Sisters to raise a minimum of $250 – for which they would then be rewarded with an entry to the D-MAX prize draw.

“The stigma associated with men taking care of their health and mental wellbeing has become a serious issue, and Isuzu UTE Australia recognises the importance of supporting the Movember Foundation to help raise awareness and support,” said Cornelius Ionescu, Isuzu UTE Australia Marketing Manager.

Movember is an annual month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November, with the aim of raising crucial funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.
