FARMINGDALE, NY and MARKHAM, Ontario--Feb. 12, 2013 -- A case study released today by Robocom Systems International finds that Safelite AutoGlass has achieved rapid business growth, maintained a competitive advantage and improved operational efficiency leveraging supply chain execution solutions provided by Robocom. Safelite AutoGlass has implemented Robocom's Warehouse Management System (R-WMS) in its U.S.-based distribution centers and in just over three years since implementing R-WMS has made productivity improvements as high as 15 percent, which equates to a savings of more than $700,000 annually.

Rich Glover, Assistant Vice President of Manufacturing and Distribution for Safelite explains, "One of our core competencies is supply chain. Our goal is to have the right part at the right time at the right place -- and our ability to do that has been key to our business growth."

Mike Bradsher, Director of Accounting and Controller for Manufacturing & Distribution for Safelite said, "While I think we could have continued to grow our business without a WMS, it would have taken a lot more time, people and money to do so--there is no doubt about that. Now, with our WMS in place, we are poised for growth and to take advantage of any opportunity that comes our way."

"Our team continues to deliver the tools that operating managers need to realize the cost savings that are being demanded of them in today's tough economic environment," said Fred Radcliffe, Robocom President. "The results achieved by Safelite AutoGlass demonstrate the value our software delivers."
