Ford Higher Apprenticeships Support New Generation Of Professional Engineers

BRENTWOOD, UNITED KINGDOM – June 20, 2013: Ford has announced a new four-year Higher Apprenticeship programme to encourage a new generation of engineers into the automotive industry.

A Ford Higher Apprenticeship in Product Development Engineering includes a degree-level qualification, and offers high-quality training in a range of engineering skills. It provides the opportunity to learn and earn at the same time.

The degree-level apprenticeships are provided in conjunction with the University of Greenwich. They provide an alternative route to a degree over the traditional university path, which offers employers a skilled resource while enabling work experience to be combined with further study.
