Iteris Elects Gerard Mooney to its Board of Directors

SANTA ANA, CA--Dec 2, 2013: Iteris, Inc. (NYSE MKT: ITI), a leader in providing intelligent traffic management information solutions, has elected Gerard Mooney to its board of directors.

“He also possesses deep industry knowledge in the intelligent transportation solutions market and is familiar with many key customers in our industry. We look forward to leveraging his experience as we advance our strategic direction to become the standard in technology-focused traffic management solutions.”

Mooney brings to the company significant experience in the Transportation, IT and software industry, and currently serves as the vice president of strategy for IBM’s public sector. In addition, he also served as the general manager of Global Smarter Cities for IBM from November 2011 to February 2012 and as the general manager of Global Government and Education for IBM from April 2008 to November 2011. Before joining IBM, Mooney held various management positions at Hewlett-Packard Company for six years.

He is actively involved in the intelligent transportation market and serves as a member of the board of directors of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America. Mooney received a B.A. degree from Mount Saint Mary’s College, an M.S. degree in Accounting from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from Yale University.
