Mercedes Lights Up Geneva With Exciting Premieres

GENEVA - March 3, 2015: This morning's Mercedes-Benz Press Conference featured with three World Premieres, four European Premieres and one Show Premiere. The German Automaker is showing a strong product lineup in all classes. Ranging from the all new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, a sporty coupe with the striking characteristic of a robust SUV to the ultimate luxury 6.50 meters Mercedes-Maybach Pullman. The second model from Mercedes-Maybach with a vis-à-vis seating in the partitioned off passenger compartment is the top model in that segment.

No doubt the new Mercedes-AMG GT3 was a real showstopper at the Geneva Motor Show. The racer meeting FIA's GT3 race rules will compete in the world's most hotly contested customer race series.

The CLA Shooting Brake celebrates its European Show Premiere in Geneva together with the Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake, the fourth high-performance compact car to be brought to the market by AMG.

Mercedes-Benz also showed its latest model in the Plug-In Hybrid segment, the C 350 e, the most advanced hybrid technology yet in the C-Class. With a range of 31 kilometers in pure electric mode, local emission-free driving is now a reality. Its four-cylinder gasoline engine, in conjunction with a powerful electric motor, gives it a total system output of 205 kW (279 hp) and offers certified consumption figures of just 2.1 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.
