AutoNation Launches AutoNation Branded Vehicle Protection Plan

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- May 13, 2015: AutoNation, Inc. , America's largest automotive retailer, announced today the launch of an AutoNation branded vehicle service contract – the "AutoNation Vehicle Protection Plan" – to be sold in all Domestic and Import AutoNation stores.

Mike Jackson, Chairman, CEO and President, said, "Offering a private-label service contract is the next logical step in our 'Coast to Coast' branding initiative that we launched two years ago. This marks the beginning of branding our customer protection products with the AutoNation name."

AutoNation has partnered with The Warranty Group, the largest provider of service contracts in the country, to administer and insure through its affiliates the AutoNation Vehicle Protection Plan.
