DETROIT -- January 12, 2016: The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) has announced today that NAIAS Presenting Sponsor MOTOR TREND has partnered to provide the first-ever "Ask the Experts" Ambassador Program for the 2016 event.

Through the partnership, NAIAS will provide show visitors with an opportunity to "Ask the Experts" from MOTOR TREND's editorial staff with vehicle questions submitted through event Ambassadors using iPads from the show floor. Attendees will also have the following options to submit questions to MOTOR TREND staff during the January 11-24 show:

Website: visit MotorTrend to submit a question

Twitter: tweet question using the hashtag #AskMT

Text: text question to (313) 228-3288 and editors will respond

"The car industry is back and booming with the highest sales since 2000. There is not only a spectacular array of vehicles to choose from, but tons of dizzying new features as well. We know consumers are excited and have a lot of questions, so our MOTOR TREND Ambassadors and editors will be available to help," said MOTOR TREND's editor-in-chief, Edward Loh.

In addition, NAIAS "Ask the Experts" Ambassadors will offer a wayfinding destination for show visitors. Ambassadors will be stationed throughout Cobo Center and on the show floor, providing a one-stop resource for NAIAS and Detroit information and directions.

"Over the two weeks of NAIAS, we see well over 800,000 people pass through the doors of Cobo Center," NAIAS Chairman Paul Sabatini said. "We are grateful to MOTOR TREND for providing our show visitors with keen automotive insights and for welcoming attendees with a uniquely interactive way to navigate the show and the Motor City."
