Hyundai Brand Highlights

“As we expected, the SUV focused-market continues into 2018 with consumer demand in those segments outpacing all others,” said John Angevine, director, National Sales, Hyundai Motor America. “Tucson set its monthly sales record for the eleventh consecutive month and is clearly resonating with what customers are looking for with its striking design and advanced technology.”

In January, Hyundai showcased its extensive capabilities in delivering exciting new vehicles and introducing technology innovations for the future of transportation. At CES, Hyundai unveiled its all-new dedicated fuel cell vehicle NEXO, partnered with Aurora to bring self-driving Hyundai vehicles to market by 2021 and aligned with Cisco to enable next-generation in-vehicle networking. The Detroit Auto Show quickly followed, and Hyundai pulled the sheet on its all-new uniquely styled Veloster and surprised the industry with the first N product in the U.S., the Veloster N. The Veloster will also come to market with several strategic partnerships, including joining the official roster of drivable vehicles in Forza Motorsport 7 for Xbox and integration in the upcoming major motion picture the “Ant-Man and the Wasp”. The past several weeks have also been spent preparing for Super Bowl LII, where Hyundai will leverage its official car and SUV designations with the NFL to bring the spotlight to its non-profit organization, Hyundai Hope On Wheels and the fight against pediatric cancer.
