Steve McQueen Edition Bullitt Mustang Unveiled at LA Auto Show

LOS ANGELES, CA ; At Automobility LA on November 29, Chad McQueen and the team at McQueen Racing announced the start of production of the official Steve McQueen Edition Bullitt Mustang. Built with a limited production run of only 300 units per model year and available from Ford Dealers worldwide, this ultra-high performance edition Bullitt Mustang has been purposely re-engineered to deliver supreme performance, improved driving dynamics, and offers increased exclusivity for the iconic Bullitt Mustang produced by Ford Motor Company. The vehicles will be built in the USA by Galpin Auto Sports and Steeda, in Australia by Mustang Motorsports, and in Europe by Steeda UK.

The Boys Republic is a private, nonprofit, nonsectarian school and treatment community for troubled youngsters. About Chad McQueen - Chad McQueen was the first and only son of Steve McQueen. He was racing dirt bikes by age nine, and in just three years, would go on to win his class in the World Mini Grand Prix. Chad quickly moved on to auto racing. He won his very first race: the Mini Le Mans event, a kids-only track created on the set of the film Le Mans.
