PHOTO

Detroit January 25, 2019; Meet some adoptable pups, experience thrilling virtual reality rides, build your own LEGO® figures and feel the excitement of exhilarating simulator rides. This and much more, including an appearance by Detroit Tigers players and a meet and greet with championship figure skaters, is what’s in store for the remaining days of NAIAS, running through Sunday, Jan. 27.

Show visitors still have time to check out the 750 vehicles on display and the long list of interactive and special activities that cover every square inch of the show floor. From a climb through a challenging netted bridge to a ride over rugged terrain on a track right on the show floor, NAIAS has something for everyone.

In addition to the interactive games and activities at NAIAS, there will be special appearances, meet and greets and fun with four-legged friends.

Alumni members of the U.S. Figure Skating Championships will be at the show for a meet and greet in the Cobo Center concourse on Friday, Jan. 25 and Saturday, Jan. 26.

Subaru and the Michigan Humane Society will be featuring again this weekend “Meet Your Best Friend,” a showcase of dogs that need homes and loving families. Pups will be on site on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 26 – 27 from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The “Boys of Summer,” the Detroit Tigers, and Tigers mascot PAWS will drop by the NAIAS on Friday, Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m. for a special parade along the show floor and a Q&A in the Chevrolet display. (Select players will participate; there will be no autograph signings at the auto show event.)
