Hyundai Sonata and Palisade Win Driving Today's Best Car Buy of the Year Awards

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Dec. 18, 2019 – Hyundai’s 2020 Sonata and 2020 Palisade earned Best Car Buy Awards from Driving Today for the categories of Best Family Car and Best Family SUV. Best Car Buy Awards go to the best vehicles in 9 different categories following months of in-depth research and testing by the experts at DrivingToday.com, along with rigorous analysis of sales, consumer perceptions and owner experiences with a vehicle.

The 2020 Sonata is the first model to be based on Hyundai’s new, innovative vehicle platform, and uses an extensive application of advanced technology to boost comfort, convenience, and safety for the entire family. It is also the first vehicle showcasing the brand’s Sensuous Sportiness exterior design, focusing on creating emotional value using proportion, styling, and technology.

The Sonata has also received the 2019 Sobre Ruedas Best Mid-Size Sedan award, the 2019 Miami International Auto Show Sedan of the Show award and the 2020 Hispanic Motor Press award for Best Sedan for Hispanic Families. The Sonata was also named a finalist in the North American Car of the Year category by the North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year jury at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show’s AutoMobility LA conference.

The Sonata has a starting MSRP of $23,400 and began arriving at dealerships across the U.S.

The 2020 Palisade is Hyundai’s all-new flagship premium three-row SUV with exceptional second- and third-row roominess for the entire family. It brings exceptional comfort, technology, cargo area, and safety in a bold midsize SUV.

The Palisade has also received a 2019 TOP SAFETY PICK+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the 2019 Wards 10 Best User Experiences™ award, the 2019 Miami International Auto Show Official Vehicle of the Show award and the 2019 Sobre Ruedas Vehicle of the Year award, in addition to being named a finalist in the North American Utility Vehicle of the Year category.

The Palisade has a starting MSRP of $31,550 and is currently available at dealerships across the U.S.
