Dear Auto Channel friends:

I have some news to share about changes to our team structure, but first and most importantly, I want to offer our hope for the health and well-being of you and your loved ones. We're in the midst of something truly unprecedented, and I want you to know that, just as we are endeavoring to support our customers, associates and dealers, we're working diligently to support you with the news and content you need to sustain your relationship with your readers.

Now, I want to share some news about changes to the American Honda Public Relations team:

On April 1, I will be taking on a new role as assistant vice president of Acura Advertising. I'm looking forward to this new challenge, as Acura has been steadily sharpening its focus on its performance-focused brand roots, and you will see us further accelerate this effort in the months ahead with multiple new products, including the promised return of Type S performance variants to the Acura lineup.

Taking the helm as senior manager and department head of American Honda Public Relations will be Matt Sloustcher, who will assume responsibility for both the Honda and Acura brands, along with our Shows & Exhibits team, Honda Power Equipment and Marine PR, and motorsports PR. Matt brings a wealth of experience to this role, including his current role as head of Acura brand PR, and before that as a member of our North American Corporate Communications team. He is a student of this industry and, like many on our team, an automotive enthusiast. So, I know I'm leaving the group in great hands!

On a personal level, this is certainly a bittersweet moment in my career. Words can't really express how much I've enjoyed my time in PR and the many wonderful relationships I've been gifted as a result. I want you to know how much I appreciate the support and friendship of everyone in our extended journalist and automotive PR family.

Fortunately, our PR team is the best in the business, and I know Matt and the team will continue to deliver truly first-class support to you, our media customers.

Thank you all, so much! This is not farewell, but "until we meet again."

Sincerely,

Sage Marie
