Honda Cuts Fit Out Of North American Market

Torrence CA July 18, 2020; Honda announced that Fit production for North America will end at Honda's plant in central Mexico, which will expand its output of the new entry Honda the HR-V.

Also axed is the Civic Coupe and uber cool Civic Si Coupe. reaming available is the manual Accord and the Civic retains its manual transmissions in sedan, hatch, Si sport trim and the track-ready Type R performance variant.

Honda ended production of the manual Accord in December but still has enough inventory for the rest of the model year (nu'ff said). The Fit will live on as the Jazz in other markets, the Civic coupe is no longer sold outside of North America.
