Luxury Loaded in Comfort

One of the best things about the 2020 Genesis G90 full-size luxury sedan is that you do not need a long computer spreadsheet to find, sort out, and choose optional features and driver aid systems. Most of them already come standard. Not surprising on most 70K top-end vehicles. Whereas most sedans in this price range accentuate performance and sportiness, this sedan puts its emphasis on comfort and style.

The style starts right up front with its yawning grill reminiscent of a whale shark about to envelop a full load of plankton. Also restyled are the headlights, taillights, hood, fenders, and rear decklid. It is a clean look with a noticably unique personality that sets it apart from the usual sedan look.

The interior is resplendant in high quality leather. The seats set a high mark for comfort and adjustability. Not only do the front seats have 22-way adjustability, but also and the rear seats pack eight-way functionality. To assist you and you passenger you can use the button on the door and a screen will pop up on the dash asking for your height, weight, and inseam. It then sets the seat up for the most comfortable experience. Meanwhile, the G90 adaptive dampers and five-link front and rear suspensions both smooth and cushion the ride, as well as reduces road noise.

Powered by a 5.0-liter V8 creating 420 horsepower and 383 pound-feet torque, this sedan exudes aristocractic confidence to handle whatever is needed whenever you need it. You decide if you want or need rear wheel drive or optional all wheel drive. Safety systems include adaptive cruise control - a real right ankle saver on busy freeways full of both aggresive or clueless drivers. The lane-keeping assist is terrific for long night drives and rainy nights. The forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking is a real accident-avoider - it started to kick in when the car in front of the car I was following dramatically slowed and the sensors picked up on it when I couldn't see it.
