The 2022 Volvo S90 is a luxury sedan that excels in comfort, style, and competitive sticker and this year the B6 powertrain (formerly the T6) includes a mild hybrid setup. Upgrades are a new front bumper, a revised fog light, an updated wheel design, and reshaping the rear spoiler, a Harmon Karden sound system, smartphone wireless charging, and USB-C charging ports on the back. The S90 also features an Android-based infotainment system and upgraded sensors.

The B6 is a 2.0-liter in-line 4-cylinder engine with a turbocharger and a supercharger, and by adding a 48-volt hybrid system produces 295 horsepower. The All Wheel Drive system has "Instant Traction" for those icy moments as well as advanced ESC Electronic Stability Control. Freeway driving is enhanced with electric power assisted steering and braking activates regenerative battery charging.

The interior of the S90 puts the up in upscale as wood, leather, and fine-grained plastic create a smooth modern environment. good front and backspace. We rated it 8 out of 10. Each seat in S90 is a nice chair. Power adjustment is the standard for skin buckets. Heating and cooling are options available, such as massage. Thin roof pillars and low window lines make the cab feel open and airy and significantly increase visibility.

The vertical infotainment touchscreen controls many features and may take a little bit of tapping to learn but becomes second nature. Vertical screens for computer monitors are a "thing" these days, so chalk one up for Volvo designers.

The cargo volume on this S90 is 13.5 cubic feet and has a handy pocket net on the right side for important stuff like frisbee golf discs.
