According to General Motors, sales of the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV have been temporarily paused due to software quality issues. The company has not specified the exact nature of the issues, but has confirmed that they are not safety-related.

Global Vice president Chevrolet Scott Bell was quoted by Auto News.“We’re aware that a limited number of customers have experienced software-related quality issues with their Blazer EV, customer satisfaction is our priority and as such, we will take a brief pause on new deliveries.”

This move comes after Tesla recalled over 120,000 vehicles due to software issues that could cause unlocked doors to open during a crash, increasing the risk of injury

It is unclear when the sales will resume, but General Motors has stated that it is working quickly to roll out a fix and will contact owners with further information on how to schedule their update.

More facts as they come in.
