MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Mark Green and the Timber Wolf/Brewco Motorsports team return
to the Myrtle Beach Speedway, the site of their career best start (2nd) and
first top 10 finish, anxious to prove just how strong they have been running
lately. In the last three races, Green has finished no better than 15th, but
only after late race adversity set him back.

"We dropped a cylinder near the end in South Boston, ran out of gas with one lap
to go in Watkins Glen and had a miscue in the pit and got a stop-and-go penalty
in Milwaukee, all while running in the top 10," explained the Owensboro,
Kentucky native. "It's got to get better soon. As a team, we know that if we
keep doing everything right, the results will come."

Following the Advance Auto Parts 250, Mark Green and the Timber Wolf/Brewco
Motorsports team will head to Madison, Illinois to test at the Gateway
International Raceway. The July 14 test is in preparation for the Gateway 300
NASCAR Busch Series race on July 26.

With a lap of 119.091 mph in qualifying for last week's race at the Milwaukee
Mile, Mark Green set two track records. He bettered the track qualifying record,
set by Tim Fedewa in first-round qualifying, and recorded the fastest lap by a
stock car, previously held by Rusty Wallace driving an ASA car in 1984.

Had Green not experienced engine trouble and turned his fast lap in first round
qualifying, he would have started from the pole position. Instead he lined up in
the 26th position.

Food Chief Food Stores, headquartered in Latta, South Carolina, is an associate
sponsor on the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the Advance Auto
