LOUDON, NH - Macroscopically, for Roush Racing, the weekend was a great 
success as Jeff Burton captured his second decisive victory in the 1997 
season. On a smaller scale, it was not such a happy experience for the 16 
team, as Friday's fastest car in practice wound up 26th on Sunday.

"I have no idea," said Musgrave of his run. "It was unbelievably tight 
right from the start, it just felt dead. We made all sorts of adjustments 
to the track bar, wedge, tire pressure, so by the end, we were mostly just 
way loose, but I still couldn't get it off the center. I really couldn't 
tell you what happened."

After starting 25th due to the car sliding through the sand-swept turns three 
and four, Musgrave finished 26th, two laps down but remains 10th in the 
overall standings, still gaining on seventh position.

Next week: Back to the Pocono Raceway with JR53 and crossed fingers. 
Musgrave was sixth last month on the 2.5 mile track.
