THE RACE: Pocono Raceway is a 2.5-mile paved tri-oval with 14 degrees
ganking in turn one, 8 degrees banking in turn two and 6 degrees banking in
turn three. The length of the front straight is 3,740 feet, the length of
the Long Pond straight is 3,055 feet and the length of the North straight is
1,780 feet. Pocono Raceway has hosted the Pennsylvania 500 since 1974.
