LJ Racing Loses SponsorJoe Falk, car owner of the #91 Winston Cup series car, learned that Hormel Foods has withdrawn its SPAM sponsorship from his team effective immediately.
"I was completely surprised by Hormel's decision after the strong pledge of commitment that was recently expressed during the SPAM / LJ Racing press conference at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May." said Falk.
The team will continue on with a limited schedule with Greg Sacks handling the driving duties. The two races that the team will attempt to make are the Pennsylvania 500 and the Brickyard 400.
Spears Manufacturing Switches Craftsman Truck Drivers
21 year-old Kevin Havrick will take over driving the #75 Spears Manufacturing Craftsman Truck. Havrick, who will replace Dan Press, will take over effective with the running of the Colorado 250 by Snap-On Tools run at Colorado National Speedway.
