#3 Jay Sauter, GM Goodwrench Service Plus Chevrolet NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Colorado 250 By Snap-On Tools Advance Colorado National Speedway SAUTER HOPES HIS RETURN TO COLORADO WILL START LIKE LAST YEAR ERIE, CO - This year at the Colorado 250 NASCAR truck race in Erie, Colo. the No. 3 GM Goodwrench Service Plus truck will be driven by Jay Sauter. Last year at Colorado National Speedway, the No. 3 team started sixth and won the race. - Sauter is currently seventh in the NASCAR Truck Series points standings - 302 points behind leader Rich Bickle. - During the 13th NASCAR Truck Series race of the season, at Louisville Motor Speedway, the No. 3 team started 27th. A hole in the radiator ended their day on lap 64. They had to settle for a 31st place finish. - Sauter has had one start at Colorado National Speedway. Last year he started on the outside pole and finished ninth driving for a different team. QUOTES: "Last year I had the opportunity to race another truck at Colorado National Speedway," commented Sauter. "We sat on the outside pole, so I feel pretty comfortable going back there this year. "This GM Goodwrench Service Plus team just keeps on giving me great equipment," said Sauter. "They will never know how much I appreciate them standing behind me.
