SAUTER HOPES HIS RETURN TO COLORADO WILL START LIKE LAST YEAR

ERIE, CO - This year at the Colorado 250 NASCAR truck race in Erie, Colo. the
No. 3 GM Goodwrench Service Plus truck will be driven by Jay Sauter. Last
year at Colorado National Speedway, the No. 3 team started sixth and won the
race.

 - Sauter is currently seventh in the NASCAR Truck Series points standings -
302 points behind leader Rich Bickle.

 - During the 13th NASCAR Truck Series race of the season, at Louisville
Motor Speedway, the No. 3 team started 27th. A hole in the radiator ended
their day on lap 64. They had to settle for a 31st place finish.

 - Sauter has had one start at Colorado National Speedway. Last year he
started on the outside pole and finished ninth driving for a different team.

QUOTES:

"Last year I had the opportunity to race another truck at Colorado National
Speedway," commented Sauter. "We sat on the outside pole, so I feel pretty
comfortable going back there this year.

"This GM Goodwrench Service Plus team just keeps on giving me great
equipment," said Sauter. "They will never know how much I appreciate them
standing behind me.

"I enjoy short track racing," remarked Sauter. "Right now our weakest point
is our qualifying. We are really concentrating on starting better."
