BUCKSHOT JONES NOTES & QUOTES: GATEWAY 300

MADISON, IL -- "I really like going to these new tracks. Nobody has
claimed them as their own or their best track. It is unconquered
territory. Anyone has a shot at winning" --Buckshot Jones, driver of
the #00 Aquafresh Pontiac

Happy Birthday To You!! We want to wish Buckshot Jones, who turned 27
on July 23, a Happy Birthday!

Best Birthday Memory... "It was my 16th birthday and my sister was
planning this huge surprise party for me. There were about 200 people
invited," said Jones. "My sister and I shared a private phone line at
that time and she instructed the woman who was making the arrangements
to only speak to her. Well, I answered the phone one day and never
identified myself, but the woman told me the entire plan for the
party. I never let on that I knew about the party, because I knew how
much trouble my sister went to keep it a secret."

The #00 Aquafresh Racing team will be competing in the "Gateway 300"
with the same car they finished third with in South Boston, Va.,
earlier this summer.

On August 24, Harold Walker and the city of Independence, Va., will be
hosting the Buckshot Jones Fan Appreciation Day for all of the
official fan club members. The day will allow fan club members to meet
Buckshot in person, enjoy good food, music and a lot of fun.
