#37 Scot Walters, Red Man Chevrolet NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Federated Auto Parts 250 Advance Nashville Speedway USA SCOT WALTERS NOTES & QUOTES: FEDERATED AUTO PARTS 250 NASHVILLE, TN - Scot Walters is making his first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at the 0.596 mile Nashville Speedway USA in the No. 37 Red Man Chevrolet. The 29 year-old driver has one career NCTS start, finishing seventh on July 12 at Louisville Motor Speedway. "The excitement level is way up," said Walters, a Louisville, Kentucky native. "I've raced a ton of laps at Nashville in the Slim Jim All Pro Series and know what to look for when setting up the truck. "The Red Man team has great equipment and a solid crew. We have proved that with our finishes. The truck is competitive in every race we run and has finished no lower than 12th and that's because we ran out of gas. When the truck runs good it makes my job a lot easier." The next scheduled race for the Red Man/Brewco Motorsports team is on September 4 at the Richmond International Raceway. NASCAR Winston Cup Series regular David Green will pilot the No. 37 truck. Located in Central City, Kentucky, Brewco Motorsports is competing in eight NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events in 1997 with David Green, Mark Green and Scot Walters alternating driving duties. Piggly Wiggly, a supermarket chain with locations throughout the Southeast, is an associate sponsor on the No. 37 Red Man Chevrolet for the Federated Auto Parts 250 at Nashville Speedway USA.
