#37 Mark Green, Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Division Detroit Gasket 200 Advance Michigan Speedway MARK GREEN NOTES & QUOTES: DETROIT GASKET 200 BROOKLYN, MI - Green and the Timber Wolf/Brewco Motorsports team are making their Michigan Speedway debut in the Detroit Gasket 200, marking their third career start on an oval track two miles or larger. Green, an Owensboro, Kentucky resident who cut his racing teeth on short tracks, adapted quickly to the larger, faster speedways. He scored his career best finish, 8th, in his first race at Daytona International Speedway in February. "I've never race at Michigan International Speedway before this weekend, but I'm really looking forward to it," said Green. "With its long, banked corners, I expect it to be a lot like Atlanta Motor Speedway. "My driving style is very smooth and it allows me to get around superspeedways without much trouble. With my brother David (Green) helping us with the setup on the car, we should be fast right out of the trailer." - The No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo Mark Green is driving at Michigan Speedway in named 'Thumper'. It is the same car raced at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway. "'Thumper' is a very comfortable car for me to drive," said Green. "It responds well to the changes we make to it," said Green. "Our finishes with Thumper don't show how strong of a car it really is." - Kyle Pilman joined the Timber Wolf/Brewco Motorsports team this past week and works as a fabricator in the shop. Previously, Pilman, worked with several different teams in the ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde Series. - Mark Green is currently 13th in the NASCAR Busch Series standings, 186 points out of 10th place. - Buddy's Mini Mart is an associate sponsor on the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the Detroit Gasket 200 at the Michigan Speedway.
