NASCAR Makes Las Vegas Motor Speedway Date for Winston Cup Racers

LAS VEGAS, NV - NASCAR announced today that Las Vegas Motor Speedway
will receive a Winston Cup date for 1998. NASCAR's premiere touring
division will visit the 1.5-mile track on March 1, 1998. The 400-mile
event will be sponsored by the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors
Authority and has been dubbed the Las Vegas 400.

The 102,000-seat facility will also play host to the NASCAR Busch
Series, Grand National Division on Saturday, February 28.
