NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Dodge Post-Race Quotes Stevens Beil/Genuine Car Parts 200 Flemington Speedway August 9, 1997 FLEMINGTON, NJ - Dodge had a tough day of racing at the Flemington Speedway. After all four trucks qualified in the top-10 earlier in the afternoon, during the race itself the Dodge trucks all struggled with understeer. In hot, intense sunshine, the track conditions changed as the day went on, playing havoc with the individual setups. BOB KESELOWSKI (#29 Mopar Dodge) - Started 10th, finished 11th - "The track stayed real good. We made some good changes at the halfway break -- I just wish we would've gone a little further with them." JIMMY HENSLEY (#43 Cummins Dodge) - Started 2nd, finished 13th - "The truck was real tight, and it just wouldn't turn. We made one little change at halftime, and then it just wouldn't turn. When you do that, you're gonna go backwards and that's just what happened." TONY RAINES (#19 Pennzoil Dodge) - Started 3rd, finished 16th - "The truck was pushing the whole way around the track -- it was a problem with the basic setup. The truck felt like it was teetering off the left rear and the right front. Now we know, and we'll be better next year. You've gotta take the good with the bad." MICHAEL DOKKEN (#18 Dana Dodge) - Started 5th, finished 22nd - "The track conditions changed and we missed it. It got really tight -- I thought for sure I had a flat tire during the first half. The truck just wouldn't turn." By Chrysler Corporation Motorsports Public Relations
