Happenings at the Bristol Motor Speedway

22 August 1997

BRISTOL, TN - Well we've made it over the hills to see the Dales run at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The cars are out circling the 0.533 mile concrete track getting readying for qualifying.

So far Phil Parsons is the only one to make it into the wall.... bad enough that he is out getting a check over. Brett Bodine is now shaking down the #10 Parsons BGN ride.

The work facilities here are real - real thin and if it were not for finding a tiny hole then spreading out we'd be in a real pickle.

What does this mean?... Well we'll bring you reports as soon as we can but they might be slightly delayed.

I also gather that the Sterling Marlin announcement will be forthcoming as well as the Bobby Hamilton announcement.

Well off to the garage to see what is going with the folks we haven't see for quite some time.
