Pennzoil to Sponsor Steve Parks in NASCAR Winston Cup Competition

DARLINGTON, SC - Pennzoil Products Company has inked a three-year deal to 
sponsor the Dale Earnhardt, Inc. NASCAR Winston Cup entry which will be 
driven by Steve Park beginning in 1998. 

Veteran crew chief Phillipe Lopez will lead the team which will be based in a 
108,000-square-foot shop in Mooresville, NC on November 1st. 

Park's agreement with DEI is through the year 2000, with multi-year options 
following the turn of the century. 

The #14 Pennzoil Monte Carlo will make its debut on the circuit during 
Daytona Speedweeks in February 1998.
