JEFF FULLER RETURNS TO THOMPSON INT'L SPEEDWAY FOR SUNOCO 500 WEEKEND

THOMPSON, CT - Jeff Fuller will return to his racing roots when he defends
his 1996 Sunoco 300 title at Thompson International Speedway, Thompson, CT,
this Sunday. Fuller will pilot the #60 Ocean Spray/Sunoco Chevrolet Monte
Carlo in the NASCAR Busch Grand National North race as part of the Sunoco 500
weekend activities at Thompson's 0.625 mile oval. The former Auburn, MA
resident won last year's event from the pole.

"We're delighted to have Jeff in the #60 Ocean Spray/Sunoco Chevrolet Monte
Carlo this weekend," said team owner Tom Pease. "This car has won twice
before, so I know Jeff can return to victory lane at Thompson."

Fuller, the 1995 Penrose Rookie of the Year, is currently campaigning his
third season in the NASCAR Busch Grand National South series. "I'm delighted
to be running at Thompson," said Fuller. "This is like home to me. Even after
I went south to run in the BGN series, I've managed to come back to Thompson
for the Sunoco 300. Last year Don Hoening (Track Owner) switched the Sunoco
300 from a Modified race to a BGNN race. That's all right with me. I love
this track so much, it doesn't matter what kind of race it is, I'll try to be
here."

Jeremy Pease, Tom's son, is the crew chief for the family owned team. Besides
his crew chief responsibilities, Jeremy is also the engine builder. This
year the #60 Ocean Spray has already won at both Loudon, NH and Beech Ridge,
ME. The 24-year-old Pease is the youngest crew chief on the BGNN circuit.

This year's running of the Sunoco 300 will mark its 23rd year. As always,
lots of fan-friendly activities will be included. Call 1-860-923-9591 for
