SCOT WALTERS NOTES & QUOTES: VIRGINIA IS FOR LOVERS 200

RICHMOND, VA - Louisville, Kentucky native Scot Walters is making his first
career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at the 0.750 Richmond International
Raceway in the No. 37 Red Man Chevrolet. The 29 year-old driver has two career
NCTS starts, scoring a career best seventh place finish on July 12 at the
Louisville Motor Speedway.

Walters was not originally scheduled to race in Richmond, but was added after
his outstanding performances in his previous two starts. He joins Jeff Green,
who will drive the Brewco Motorsports No. 74 Red Man Golden Blend Chevrolet at
Richmond.

Green, a 34-year old Owensboro, Kentucky native, is substituting for his older
brother David Green, who was scheduled to drive the truck, but is unable due
to a broken right scapula (shoulder blade) suffered on August 23 in a NASCAR
Winston Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

"Scot has done a fantastic job for Brewco Motorsports in the two races he has
run making the decision to add a second truck very easy," said team owner
Clarence Brewer, Jr. "With Red Man's US corporate offices located in
Richmond, we wanted to double our ammunition and have two opportunities to
win."

The Central City, Kentucky based Brewco Motorsports team is competing in
select NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in 1997 with D. Green, NASCAR Busch
Series regular Mark Green and Walters alternating driving duties in the Red
Man Chevrolet.

"The best part of racing in Richmond is racing in front of our sponsors," said
Walters, a two-time winner in the NASCAR Slim Jim All Pro Series. "On Tuesday,
we had a company picnic at corporate headquarters. All the employees had the
opportunity to see the trucks up close. Everyone, including myself, is pumped
up and ready for the race."

 - During the 1997 season, the Brewco Motorsports truck has featured the Red
Man Golden Blend colors and logos. J. Green will pilot the No. 74 Red Man
Golden Blend truck at Richmond while Walters truck will have a different look,
carrying the traditional red and green colors of Red Man.

 - Following the running of the Virginia is for Lovers 200 NASCAR Craftsman
Truck Series race at Richmond International Raceway, Scot Walters will head to
Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana for a 250 lap Late Model Stock Car race on
September 7. Walters will drive the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo
in the $10,000 to win race which draws over 50 drivers from ASA, NASCAR Slim
Jim All Pro Series, and Late Model Series from across the nation.

September 29 at the Martinsville Speedway. NASCAR Winston Cup Series regular
David Green is scheduled to drive the No. 37 truck.
