JEFF GREEN NOTES & QUOTES: VIRGINIA IS FOR LOVERS 200

RICHMOND, VA - Owensboro, Kentucky native Jeff Green is making his first
career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start driving the No. 74
Brewco Motorsports Red Man Golden Blend Chevrolet.

Green is substituting for his brother and fellow NASCAR Winston Cup Series
competitor David Green, who was originally scheduled to driver the truck at
Richmond International Raceway, but suffered a broken right scapula on August
23 in a NASCAR Winston Cup Series race.

"Originally, Brewco Motorsports had planned on Jeff driving the Red Man truck
in select races in 1997, but when Scot Walters joined our team at the start of
the season, those plans changed," explained team owner Clarence Brewer, Jr.
"We welcome Jeff to Brewco Motorsports but hate that he had to join us under
these circumstances."

The Central City, Kentucky based Brewco Motorsports team is competing in
select NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in 1997, with D. Green, NASCAR
Busch Series regular Mark Green and Scot Walters alternating driving duties in
the Red Man Chevrolet.

"It's heartbreaking that I get the opportunity to make my first Truck Series
start this way, but I guess everything happens for a reason," said J. Green,
the youngest of the three racing Green brothers. "When Clarence Brewer asked
me to fill in for David at Richmond, I didn't hesitate for a minute. Brewco
Motorsports has a first-class team and I'm looking forward to the opportunity
to showcase the Red Man truck."

A recent graduate from the NASCAR Busch Series, J. Green scored one win, five
poles, 19 top five and 37 top 10 finishes in 109 NASCAR Busch Series starts.
