SEVEN WINSTON CUP STARS FILE ENTRIES FOR DOVER'S MBNA 200, SEPT 20 DOVER, DE - Seven full-time Winston Cup drivers are on the entry list for the Saturday, September 20 running of the MBNA 200 NASCAR Busch Grand National shootout at Dover Downs International Speedway. The MBNA 200 is the major supporting event for the MBNA 400 NASCAR Winston Cup classic set for Sunday, September 21. Terry Labonte, Bobby Labonte, Jeff Burton, Ricky Craven, Michael Waltrip, Dick Trickle, and Kyle Petty join the full cast of Grand National Division regulars. Bobby Labonte broke a five-year losing streak for the Winston up drivers at the hands of the junior circuit by winning this spring's GM Goodwrench/Delco Battery 200, with Burton second. Terry Labonte and Craven have each finished second in Dover's Saturday shootouts, while Michael Waltrip owns a pair of victories at the Monster Mile, the first while driving brother Darrell's car at this event in 1988. Trickle was the Busch Pole winner for the GM Goodwrench/Delco Battery 200. Far from conceding to his array of Winston Cup talent, the Grand National regulars will be led by defending race and series champion Randy LaJoie, who appears well on his way to a second consecutive season title, pursued by three-time Dover winner Todd Bodine. The hottest driver on the Grand National circuit, however, is rookie Steve Park, who comes to the Monster Mile fresh from his third victory of the season for the Earnhardt team at Richmond. Other former Dover winners in the field include Mike McLaughlin and Robert Pressley. Practice and qualifying for the MBNA 200 are on Friday, September 19, with Saturday's MBNA 200 green flag set for 1:10 p.m. All seats are general admission, with tickets priced at $32 for adults and $5 for children under 12, whether purchased in advance or at the gate.
