Roush Withdraws Burton from Busch Race to Focus on Winston Cup

MOORESVILLE, NC - Roush Racing has withdrawn the #9 Track Gear Ford NASCAR Busch Series entry from this weekend's MBNA 200 at Dover Downs International Speedway. Driver Jeff Burton will focus his attention instead on the NASCAR Winston Cup MBNA 400.

Burton is undergoing treatment this week for an inner ear problem which prevented him from completing the Winston Cup CMT 300 at New Hampshire International Speedway last weekend.

The Busch Series team has added the ACDelco 200 on October 25 at North Carolina Motor Speedway to their 1997 schedule.
