Trans-Am Sponsorship Press Conference Available Via Live Cybercast

TRANS-AM SPONSORSHIP PRESS CONFERENCE AVAILABLE VIA LIVE CYBERCAST For Immediate Release ENGLEWOOD, CO. & LOUISVILLE, KY, September 26, 1997 - The Trans-Am series sponsorship unveiling press conference, scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 30 at 12:45pm ET in Detroit, will be accessible by teleconference and the internet via a live video and audio cybercast through The Auto Channel internet network (http://www.theautochannel.com). The teleconference link is available by calling 800-865-4460 (ask to be connected to the Trans-Am press conference). The teleconference, available only to credentialed media, will be interactive, with questions relayed via a SCCA Pro Racing moderator. However, the cybercast will be available to the general public, and is the first of its kind for any professional sports association. In addition to the live coverage, the entire conference will be archived on both The Auto Channel and the SCCA's website (http://www.scca.com). Internet users wishing to view the video cybercast will need the VXtreme plug-in.
