Joe Nemechek on Pole for NASCAR BGN Bumber to Bumper 300

CONCORD, NC -- Joe Nemechek has put his Bell South Mobility DCS Monte Carlo on the pole for Saturday's All Pro Bumper to Bumper 300 Busch Grand National race. "Front Row Joe", a nick name picked up in the Winston Cup series, circled the 1.50 mile track with a lap that came in at 30.616 seconds at 176.378 miles per hour.

Nemechek said about his career first Busch series pole atthis track, "I had nothing left. There was absolutely nothing more you could throw at Charlotte Motor Speedway."

Rolling off second, on the outside poll, will be Dick Trickle in the #64 DuraLube Chevrolet. Trickle, looking forward to Saturday said, "YES! Second quickest!" The always jovial Trickle then joked, "Well, we ain't on the pole but at least we're up front."

The drivers that will round out the top-five are Mark Martin, Jimmy Spencer and Jeff Burton.

The All Pro Bumper to Bumper 300 will kick off at Saturday at 1:10 PM and be carried LIVE by TBS.
