GLENN ALLEN NOTES & QUOTES: KENWOOD HOME & CAR AUDIO 300

FONTANA, CA -

Quotes from Glenn Allen, 1996 Raybestos Rookie of The Year:

"It is so exciting to be a part of this Inaugural event in California. From
what I have heard and seen on television, Roger Penske has built a first class
racing facility. The purse is really good for the Busch Series, and hopefully
we can take home a nice check from here.

"Our crew chief John Monsam came here and crew chiefed a car for Jerry Nadeau
in the Winston Cup race in June. In a way that gives us a little bit of an
advantage, knowing a base setup to start practicing with. The last time John
and I went to a new facility, St. Louis, we qualified 3rd and had an awesome
race car. The other two new tracks this year (Texas and Las Vegas) were real
good tracks for us as well. When we go to these places we are all rookies and
I am not at an experience disadvantage.

"We have set a goal to finish out the season with 3 top tens in the last 3
races. We are using our 2 best cars for these races and I feel like we can
reach that goal."

PIT NOTES

 - Since John Monsam joined the Luxaire Racing Team as Crew Chief in
Milwaukee, Glenn Allen has finished in 17th position or higher 8 out of 10
times.

 - With the season coming to an end, Allen is hoping to find some time to go
fishing soon. Allen has spent most of his time during the week at the race
shop this season and hasn't had the opportunity to hit Lake Norman in search
of a big bass.

 - Allen has done quite well in qualifying at the 3 previous new race tracks
this season. At Las Vegas, Allen qualified 10th, Texas, 12th, and St. Louis
3rd.
